Background
I started shooting 25 years ago, purchasing my first gun for self-defense purposes. During this time, I discovered shooting sports, including IDPA and USPSA. I began with IDPA and shot it for a few years before finding USPSA, which I’ve never looked back from. I believe I earned my GM ranking in Open within 1.5 years of starting USPSA, and if I remember correctly, I achieved that ranking by winning Area matches that year. My journey into competitive shooting was almost accidental, but once I stumbled into it, I never left. I truly love this sport.
What You Reload On and Why?
I currently load on both an APEX 10 and a Revolution. People ask me all the time, "Why do you use a Mark 7?" and "Is a Mark 7 worth the money?" The answer is simple: Mark 7 made reloading easier, faster, more efficient, and more consistent. I've been a competitive shooter for around 25 years now and with my Mark 7 machines, I'm producing easily the best match ammunition I’ve ever made. And let’s not forget the time savings from the automation. Think about it—now I just need to make sure the machine has components, turn it on, press the run button, and sit back while it loads at 2,500 rounds per hour or even higher. Keep in mind, at this speed, I’m still manufacturing match-grade ammunition. I can’t see myself without a Mark 7. It’s truly a huge asset to my shooting success.
